One week later

Last week by this time I had been to the Dr's office, been jabbed with a needle, purchased a prescription and was quite possibly drowning my sorrows in wonton soup...hey, my memory is a little fuzzy, quite possibly from all the Benedryl.

This week I've been to the Dr's office, picked up a prescription and quite possibly have about an hour to clean up my mess before my parents get back from Florida (a whole day early, how rude!) and clear out and head home.

I'm still breaking out, nowhere near as badly, but enough to warrant a call to the dr. She threatened me with an allergist if this doesn't fix it...

Oh, and snagged from ownedbytwins:

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In April I caught a purse-snatcher who stole [info]justinian_t's purse (30 points). In May I punched [info]aloneone in the arm (-10 points). Last Sunday on a flight to Bangladesh, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). In October I had a shoot-out with rival gang lords on the 5 near LA (-76 points). In September I gave change to a homeless guy (19 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-77 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich!

Sincerely,
wobblyweeble

The Rugged Adventurer!

22 Humor, 24 Skill and 17 Morality!

Multiple choice. Why did it have to be... Multiple Choice?

Your high score in Skill and moderate scores in Humor and Morality qualify you for a career as a rugged adventurer! You'll need some distinctive attire, an unusual weapon, and maybe a catchphrase or two. Oh, and a cool name. If you're stumped, just look to the family pet for inspiration.

Just remember to look out for those Nazis! Which, come to think of it, is good advice for anyone...

Rebel, our last Lab, ran up to the electric meter reader man as if he was going to attack the poor fellow. The guy didn't realize the dog had a tennis ball in his mouth.

Good news! The motor for the blower fan in my is fixed, so I don't have to ride around in a glorified oven anymore (yay!). We picked up the new motor today, and it seems to have a better output than the old one (when the old one decided to work). On a side note, [info]ianraven mishears the best things...

Bad news, I won't be making it to practice Monday; the exhaust is still busted, and needs to be replaced...

The whole damned thing...this time it split right underneath the driver's seat. Dad rigged a patch to get me to work and back, but really that's all it's good for.

I'm going to mope in the corner. With my knitting.

Here goes round 2.

Edit: Round 2 was more successful...Photoshop, however, made it even more successful!

If you think back to Monday at the diner, when you asked if any famous people had come into work.

I said, supposedly some people from the Eagles (referring to the football team, and you said 'not the band'

Karate school robbery leaves thief hospitalized:

BOGOTA (AFP) - A feckless stick-up man chose the wrong target when he was beaten and hospitalized in an attempted robbery of a karate school in Bucaramanga in northwestern Colombia, police said.

"The man entered the academy with a firearm, but could not intimidate the dozens of students, who fortunately reacted and disarmed him," said Colonel Julio Cesar Santoyo, police commander in the province of Santander.

Police arrived at the scene only to take the would-be robber to hospital for treatment of multiple contusions at the hands of the karate students.
